AYÂME (designer Aya Takeshima) showcased her 2023 Spring Summer Womens Runway Collection during Rakuten Fashion Week in Tokyo, Japan. There are unique fabric treatments and styles we can remember for the upcoming season.
- Puritan Collar
- Embossed & Engraved
- Frayed
- High Waisted
Puritan Collar: Similar to the pilgrim collar, the puritan collar is wide, large and pointed. Designs come in attached to the top or detachable as an accessory.
Embossed & Engraved: We see a unique fabric treatment through a sheer chiffon-like material. The trompe l'oeil popping feature is complemented by the embossed flowers and engraved floral grooves.
Frayed: The raw hem look presents a furry and shaggy surface with fringes. We see the crop top midriff bandeau, high waisted pencil skirt and the onesie jumpsuit coveralls.
High Waisted: The collection presented a pencil skirt in high waist with a slightly paper bag style hem.
