Veronica Beard had their 2014 Spring Womens Presentation during New York Fashion Week. For the upcoming season, designers Veronica Swanson Beard and Veronica Miele Beard showcased a retro 1980s feel with an urban streetwear appeal. Jeanswear explored a pseudo denim distressed type effect on lightweight leather and fabric mixture as evidenced on a one piece coverall sleeveless jumpsuit, a trucker jacket, a mini skirt, a crop top and a button up shirt. Eye popping colors used were Limelight neon yellow and Flame reddish orange. We saw motorcycle biker vests in full hues, animal leopard prints and flowery floral motif patterns. Hemlines had the rounded cuts and asymmetrical angular slit. Zippers also played a role in enclosures for a one piece vest-dress and techno mesh dress. A translucent rainwear rider jacket complemented a full on white outfit. From the fashion show, we selected only the top looks and our favorite pieces.
