Comme des Garçons’ brand child, GANRYU, exhibited their 2013-2014 Fall Winter Mens Runway Collection during Japan Fashion Week. Entitled “Unidentified”, the catwalk collection featured side parted curly lock wigs under casual caps, A line outerwear cuts, classic autumn layering, preppy creeper style shoes, multi-paneled plaid or textured fabrics, maximization of waistcoat quilted puffer vests and pajama sleepwear style outerwear coats. For denim jeans, there were two main trends. First, the cuts had that Bobby Brown/ MC Hammer low crotch balloon thigh silhouette, dark raw denim, roll up bottom hems and asymmetrical crotch threading with low big drop back. The second style kept the slim roll up above ankle beachcomber style. From the presentation, we selected the top looks and our favorite pieces.
