If you have not gotten a chance to see G-Star RAW’s 2013-2014 Fall Winter Womens Runway Collection at Bread and Butter Berlin, then here they are. For many years, we have been avid fans of G-Star. Their collections never cease to amaze us with fashion forward designs, strong technological fabric innovations, urban military appeal and hi-tech futuristic accents.<\/p>\n

For this upcoming season, inspired by Toile de Chine, a unique double dyed blue hue comes about through the RAW Mazarine. Complementary colors are combined with Syrah violet, Mustard Seed yellow and army green. The looks show an exploration of volumes such as skinny and oversized. Mix & match of silhouettes and fabric layering are also key factors.<\/p>\n

Denim and jeanswear pieces are spread out through a one piece playsuit romper shortall overalls, a sleeveless hooded waistcoat gilet, a drawstring tight up denim top that accentuates the waistline and bellowing arm sleeves, a long outerwear long coat, a high waist denim trouser in slim tapered fit, a multi-panel varsity jacket or cape, a flowing denim skirt which is a great combo for a pair of skinnies, a dark coat and denim shirt mix with a large belted waistband and a midriff zip up sleeveless top. Urban camouflage graphic patterns are also a staple with leather pieces such as motorcycle rider pants, high boots and gloves. Outerwear ensembles are abound with parkas, oversized coats, jumpsuits, overcoats and polar jackets. From the presentation, we select the top looks and our favorite pieces.<\/p>\n
