The Flat Head, founded by Kobayashi in Nagano, is one of the most respected Japanese denim where selvage fabrics from vintage shuttle looms and genuine experienced craftsmen combine to make artisanal denim pieces.<\/p>\n

Our friends from the showroom booth, courtesy of Masaki Horiuchi and Ginno Bergunio, kindly gave us a sneak peak at some highlights from The Flat Head’s 2013-2014 Fall Winter Mens Collection during The Tents @ Project Tradeshow – Magic Market Week in Las Vegas last week. From the stand selection, we curated and hand picked our top denim fashion pieces for the season.<\/p>\n

What caught our eye was the outstanding reversible black-green varsity jacket with intricate Japanese embroidery shown through the tiger, dragon and map of Japan designs. Notable pieces for menswear included pure raw dry denim jeans in 4001, 3005 and F310 model fits.<\/p>\n
