Swedish industrial Bauhaus denim label, The Local Firm, exhibited their 2013-2014 Fall Winter Runway Collection during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Stockholm. Liberty, optimism and the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 was the inspiration to the catwalk show. The club scene, streetwear, mix of East and West, military gear and youth in revolt provided the design elements for the looks. For womenswear, the highlights were fringes on jackets and skirts, Western cowboy chaps, unique layering such as belts over shirts and street casual wide leg trousers. On the other hand, menswear featured utilitarian side sleeve pocket on jackets, motorcycle biker panel on jeans, leather wrist cuffs, side seam stripes. Take note of the distinctive X mark decorated on both mens and womens apparels. From the presentation, we selected the top looks and our favorite pieces.<\/p>\n
