G-Star unveils their RAW for the Oceans collection for 2014-2015 Fall Autumn Winter season collection. Collaborating with Bionic Yarn, the Vortex Project, Parley for the Oceans and curated by Pharrell Williams, the fashion collection and denim jeans are made from Bionic Yarn eco-thread fibers and materials from recycled plastic bottles. The continuous threat of ocean plastic deepens as the amount of garbage and rubbish dumped into the ocean increases and destroys aquatic and fish habitats. G-Star joins forces with influencers using ground-breaking technology to not only retrieve plastic from the oceans but transform them into a new generation of denim.<\/p>\n

Mascot, Otto the Octopus, morphs into the designs as a trendy pop art pattern onto the fabrics. Shades of Mazarine indigo blue and black cover up the washes. From the presentation, we selected only the top fashion forward styles and our favorite pieces.<\/p>\n
