The Local Firm exhibited their 2014 Spring Summer Mens and Womens Runway Collection at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Stockholm in Sweden. Entitled White Concrete, the catwalk’s theme celebrated big city life with dressier apparel mixed with casualwear such as draped jerseys and sports fabrics. With minimalistic designs, striped patterns and batik camouflage like motifs complemented the ensembles. Denim and jeanswear for women featured lighter white tones and skinny fits. On the other hand, mens jeans stuck to marbled prints, black denim and ripped knee sections. A heavy touch of slouchy loungewear feel made way for womenswear with maxi garments, skirts and one piece vest-dress. For menswear, athletic sweatpants, varsity jackets, denim trucker jackets, jumper sweaters and socked sandals also found their way on the show. Duly noted was the button up pocketed long sleeve shirt with vertical zipper openings. From the presentation, we select only the top looks and our favorite pieces.
